Discount rules
Supplemental rules for benefits shown in your account.
Availability and choice
Benefits apply to registered accounts and supported platform bookings. The app shows the active programme, conditions, start and expiry. This page does not activate a campaign or promise a discount to every account. When personal and loyalty benefits are available, choose one. The app recommends the lowest available fare; you may change the choice before booking.
Long-route discount takes priority
Entering a route automatically checks the existing long-route discount. Where it applies, no other discount can be used on that ride. Personal and loyalty benefits remain unused until their original expiry. The long-route calculation in the general terms remains unchanged.
The first 5 km calculation
For a 50% benefit on the first 5,000 metres, the eligible value includes the starting fare once, the distance tariff and the corresponding estimated duration of those first 5 km. A shorter route uses its entire tariff value. Longer routes are allowed: the remainder uses the regular tariff, while any applicable long-route discount takes priority. Special extras are excluded. A fixed-amount discount cannot exceed the ride fare.
One account across devices
Only completed platform services count, per account rather than device. An incident continuation with another CroCab driver remains one service. Cancelled and partially performed services do not increase the count. A subsequent nonpayment report for a completed service does not change it. A programme may grant a benefit for the second or every tenth ride; its active rules define the interval and counting start. Earlier completed rides may advance the next milestone, but missed historical benefits are not granted retrospectively.
Expiry and booking confirmation
Every campaign and personal benefit has a start and expiry. A reservation pickup must also fall within that period. Previewing a fare does not spend a benefit. Booking reserves one chosen discount with the displayed fare and these rules. An unselected benefit already granted retains its original expiry. Availability changes before confirmation require a refreshed fare. Later expiry or campaign suspension does not change an accepted fare.
Cancellation, route changes and incidents
Cancellation before service starts releases the same benefit without extending expiry. A completed or chargeable partial service uses the chosen benefit. Early termination prices the performed portion, with one starting fare and no more than the originally accepted saving. Incident continuation does not create another 5 km allowance. An explicit route amendment requires acceptance of the new whole-route calculation; if the long-route discount takes priority, the campaign benefit is released. Traffic and wrong turns alone do not change the accepted fare.
Payment and commission
The driver sees the final fare and a discounted-ride label. The passenger pays the displayed final amount, without a later charge for the difference from the regular fare. The platform does not reimburse the partner for the discount. For a campaign service, the regular commission rate is reduced by the programme percentage; for example a 50% reduction changes 15% to 7.5%. Commission uses the entire final discounted fare. The long-route discount alone does not grant this commission reduction. One service has one original receipt; later collection does not create another.
Benefit protection and data
A benefit is not a prepaid account, cash balance, transferable voucher or cash payout. An unused fixed-discount remainder does not become money. Automatic benefits require a verified account contact. We use account ID, registration and contact-confirmation timing, completed services, campaign version, validity, selection and use, and an administrative change audit to calculate benefits and prevent repeated use. Multiple devices on one account are allowed and do not create extra benefits. No device fingerprint or exposure of other customers’ benefit history is introduced. Retention, rights and contact details follow the privacy policy.
Support and safety
Taximeter and standalone central-dispatch bookings do not use these customer benefits. Safety incidents and justified operational returns remain available. Three explicit declines of the same offer disconnect the driver under the general rules; an offer timeout is not an explicit decline. Contact Admin through the app or the public complaints page for discount questions or complaints.
