Delete a CroCab account or selected data

Delete in the app

Open Menu → Profile and settings → Delete account. Deletion is unavailable while a ride is active or already assigned.

No access to the app?

Send the request from the address linked to your CroCab account. We may request additional identity confirmation to protect the account.

Delete selected data without closing the account

To remove only selected optional data, open a request in the CroCab app:

1. Open Menu → Written complaints and requests.
2. Select New request.
3. Select Personal data deletion as the request type.
4. List the data you want deleted and state clearly that you want to keep your CroCab account.
5. Follow the reply and status in the same request.

You can request deletion of saved addresses, your profile photo, ride comfort preferences, registered devices and notification tokens, and marketing preferences. An administrator processes only the selected groups and records the completed action.

The last three destinations are stored only on the device. You can remove them immediately by selecting Clear next to the recent destinations list in the app.

What is deleted?

The active profile, contact details, profile photo, devices, notification tokens and information that is not required for legal obligations are deleted.

What may be retained?

Fiscal receipts, completed ride records, accepted legal documents, open complaints and security records are not deleted through partial deletion. Records required for tax, accounting, transport or other legal obligations remain for the applicable retention period and are pseudonymised where appropriate.

We process the request without undue delay, normally within one month. If additional time is required because of complexity, we will notify you in the request thread.
